A loan of $500 helped to buy clothes for selling.

Frank's story

Frank, a married man, has eight children. Driven by the need to provide for his big family and meet their basic needs, he opted to begin selling second hand clothes. He started this business in 1998, because the clothes were affordable and the demand was there.

With the profits, he has been able to build a permanent house for his family and to educate his children. He increased his stock with new clothes that were preferred by children. He will use the loan to buy a stock of clothes for selling during the festive season. In the photograph is Frank (on the right), his wife and the Ugafode credit officer (sitting down).
