Aisalkyn's story

Aisalkyn is 51 years old, married, and with her husband is raising four children. Aisalkyn has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, Aisalkyn raises livestock, having begun 18 years ago with a livestock purchase of 5,000 som KGS. Thanks to her hard work, Aisalkyn currently has on her homestead: four dairy cows, two horses, and 15 sheep. Monthly income amounts to 11,000 som (KGS).

With the aim of further developing her homestead, Aisalkyn turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan - to buy steers for fattening and subsequent sale in the market at a premium.

Aisalkyn plans to invest income from the loan in further propagation of the quantity of domestic animals.
