Elias is a thirty-two year-old married man with five children. He lives in Hoima, Uganda. Being a farmer, he used the proceeds to start up a produce business whereby he supplies to schools and other people who buy at wholesale. He is challenged by pests since he has to store the produce for some time, plus the bad roads that make transportation of the produce to the store difficult. His dream is to open a milling machine and start selling flour so as to improve his income.
Elias is asking for a loan to buy beans to sell.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
