A loan of $500 helped improve infrastructure of guinea pig farm and purchase a bull calf to start ranching business.

Aquiles's story

Aquiles is a 33-year-old man who lives with and looks after his elderly parents. Five years ago, he decided to set up his own guinea pig farm that met all the technical standards. This farm allows him to raise 300 of these small animals. The advantage of raising guinea pigs is its profitability, which is why he did not hesitate in learning about this business, especially since he studied agriculture in college. He was able to learn a lot about the proper care of animals while studying this major. Aside from his business, he also works as a facilitator at the Department of Agriculture, dealing with agricultural issues, which further helps him develop his guinea pig farm.
Aquiles works hard because he wants to have something good in his life that will allow him to earn a steady income.
He is requesting this loan because he also wants to get into ranching, which is why he will invest in the purchase of a bull calf as well as in the improvement of his farm’s infrastructure.
