After arriving in the United States from Nicaragua almost 19 years ago, Vida’s mother owned three special occasion stores. Vida always worked with her mother in the stores until she decided to start a special occasion store of her own.
With her mother’s advice and support, Vida opened Vida’s Atelier in Miami in February 2012. This special occasion store offers a variety of products including dresses for everything from Quinceañearas and Sweet Sixteens to First Communions and Bar Miztvahs.
“I love helping families in our community get ready for their special occasion,” Vida says.
While she enjoys helping her customers, Vida also relies on the business to support her family and sees it as a way to secure a future for her son and daughter.
With this loan, Vida will pay to advertise her business and purchase more inventory. Help out this entrepreneur and mother of two.
