Goderdzi's story

Goderdzi, age 47, is from the village of Dzirula. He is living with his wife and retired mother. The family earns their main income from an agricultural business. Specifically, Goderdzi has one milking cow, three calves, eight sheep, and eight beehives with bee colonies. His wife makes cheese for selling as well as for family consumption.

In order to generate a stable monthly income, Goderdzi decided to start up a grocery store in his village and sell various food products. The family has already built a store and now is requesting a loan to buy stocks of merchandise, such as meat and dairy products, oil, pasta, rice, and other products. Goderdzi and his wife will work as salespersons and serve their clients in a friendly way. The family will get monthly income and they will be able to cover household expenses as well as improve their living conditions in the future.
