Natia's story

Natia is a 35-year-old married woman who lives In Telavi, east Georgia with her husband and three children. She has her own business, selling some products from her house. Her husband works at a government institution, and his income is 400 Gel monthly. Nowadays the income isn’t enough for a big family, so she requested a loan.

The start up loan, which is a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables her to get a loan of $ 2500 to open a bakery.

Natia decided to diversify her business and open a bakery, as she already has an oven. She finds it easy to get orders and bakes Georgian food, such as Khachapuri (cheese pie), etc.

She is a very hardworking woman, and she will do her best to improve family conditions.
