Ruben, tiene 44 años de edad, es casado, tiene 3 hijos con su esposa y reside en el municipio de Colinas, Santa Barbara. Siempre se ha dedicado a la agricultura en la producción de granos básicos. Lleva dos años de cultivar plátano, el cual lo vende en la zona o a intermediarios. Ruben decidió solicitar un préstamo en forma grupal que es por 20,000 lempiras, con el fin de comprar fertilizantes para su cultivo de plátano y para sembrar 1/2 manzana de terreno mas de plátano. Con la fertilización que haga el cultivo va mejorar la producción. Sus metas son aumentar la producción, sus ingresos y la calidad de vida de su familia. El grupo se llama Chinquillas, que lo forman dos personas, que viven en la misma comunidad y se dedican a la agricultura y cultivo de plátano. El préstamo grupal es por 30,000 Lempiras y lo utilizaran para fertilizar el cultivo de plátano. En la foto se identifica Ruben quien esta con camiseta a la derecha y don Mario con sombrero a la izquierda.
