Aleksan is an experienced farmer from the Shenik village, in the Armavir region. He lives with his wife, and two young sons that are 4 and 3 years old. Aleksan works in the private sector and his wife works at the village kindergarten. Both of them work hard to be able to meet the increasing needs of their family. Their salaries alone, however, are not enough to fully meet the family’s needs. Aleksan is also engaged in cattle breeding and in the cultivation of alfalfa. He sells the agricultural products in the local market, which is an important source of their income. Aleksan currently is eager to expand his agribusiness to be able to cover the increasing costs of the family. To reach his goal Aleksan needs a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase 8 sheep. Aleksan and his family rely on the good will of the lenders and will appreciate their support in collecting the needed loan amount to develop their agribusiness.
