Rukwa Group's story

Paulo, who is his early 30s, is single with a boy and a girl who are in school. Since 2010, Paulo has been managing his business selling home products like pots, plates, saucepans, and cooking dishes. He starts working from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and is able to make very good monthly returns.

This will be his ninth loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. Paulo used his previous loans to buy new and out-of-stock business products. He has paid back all his previous loans in full. Paulo is a hardworking man with a good future plan. Paulo usually uses his business profit to cover school fees and home food expenses for his family. He has managed to build a house and bought a bicycle, TV, DVD, and sofa set. He will use this loan to buy business stock to resell. Paulo dreams to be an international businessperson.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Rukwa," which consists of four members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
