A loan helped to buy boot making materials.

Aldarbat's story

Aldarbat, 29 years old, lives with his wife in a Mongolian traditional ger (portable felt dwelling) on a plot of land in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. He has been creating and selling Mongolian traditional boots to local people since the age of 16. He learned the art of boot making from his father who also runs a boot sales business. Aldarbat's wife is a saleswoman at the furniture section of the trade center.

Aldarbat is requesting a loan of 4,000,000 MNT to buy boot making materials such as felt, rubber and a sewing machine. He is planning to make boots in a large amount as preparation for the upcoming national holiday known as White Moon. During this particular holiday, demand for Mongolian traditional boots increases, opening up the opportunity to generate greater revenue.
