A loan of $1,500 helped to start selling mobile phone accessories and prepaid cards, which will diversify his products and services to fulfill customers' needs and requests.

Ali's story

Ali is a 27-year-old single man who is responsible for supporting five members of his family. He has been running his own business since August 2011, and he is developing it in a well-managed way since it is his only source of income. Ali has a call center in his village. He is the only one who provides this service in his region, which supports him and pushes him forward to develop it as much as he can.

To move his business forward, Ali started providing money transfer services, which is highly requested in his region since most of the villagers have relatives outside Lebanon who work hard to support them through transferred cash on certain occasions and for many other reasons.

Today, Ali is acquiring a Youth loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua to start selling mobile phone accessories and prepaid cards, which will diversify his products and services to fulfill customers' needs and requests. Ali is planning in the future to continue expanding and developing his business through selling mobile phones and developing this business sector widely.
