Youssef's story

Youssef is a 30-year-old single Palestinian refugee, who has been working since 2009 in selling prepaid mobile phone cards in the Palestinian camp where he lives. Youssef is suffering from limited work opportunities Palestinian refugees face. That is why he found himself stuck in his current business that he is working hard to develop so that he can start a new life, make a beautiful family, and cover their needs.

Youssef is acquiring a YOUTH loan from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua, to increase his business capital through buying prepaid mobile phone cards that will increase his business capital and will automatically increase his income. He is working hard so that in the future he can open a mobile sales shop where he will sell newly released mobiles, used phones, accessories and prepaid cards. He also plans to provide maintenance services.
