A loan of $500 helped acquire iron, the basic material to make furniture and metal structures.

Elsa's story

Elsa is 38 years old, lives with 3 of her 4 children and her husband. She knows that working in a team is more commendable, and therefore, together with her husband they decided to open an ironworks shop 15 years ago, which has served to support their 4 children. They make all kinds of metal items, such as furniture, items for the home such as windows, doors, spiral stairs, metal roofs, and more. Because of the quality of their production, over the years Elsa and her husband can see the growth of their customers, and at times they have had to even work on Saturdays. Her husband is in charge of cutting and soldering, and Elsa does the finishing touches and painting.

This husband and wife strive to improve their family’s situation every day, so that their children may be successful, and through education they can be free of debt.

Elsa asks for a loan with which she will be able to acquire iron, the raw material needed to make the metal items.
