Saret's story

Mr. Saret C., 34, and his wife, Mrs. Seam Put, 34, who live about seventeen kilometers from Phnom Penh, were married in 2006 and have no children.


Mr. Saret and his wife have been farming for two years. They grow vegetables for selling to the middle man in the village. Currently, the couple is expanding their farm but lacks the money. Therefore, he is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a net to sheathe plants from the sun, seeds, fertilizer, and pay the fee for renting one plot of land to plant vegetables.
