A loan of $1,500 helped to buy agricultural supplies and to pay for farmworkers.

Martha Milady's story

Martha enjoys her family, which includes her husband and 2 children aged 7 and 2. She does not receive financial assistance from outside the country. She works cultivating staple grains (corn and beans). She learned how to do this from her parents, and she carries out this work with her husband and some hired workers.

With this loan, she will buy agricultural supplies and pay for labor. She will buy fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides so that she can have an abundant harvest and produce better quality crops. She is hoping to increase her sales and generate more income so that she can she can pay off her debt. Martha aspires to give her children the support they need so that they can obtain a college education.
