A loan of $2,575 helped to purchase 15 sheep.

Eldaniz's story

Eldaniz is a 33-year–old married man. He has three children. Eldaniz is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his family in the Bilasuvar IDP settlement.

He raises sheep and sells them for meat. Eldaniz has been doing this business for six years and is a very hardworking person. He puts a lot of effort into this activity, because he wants to support his family without lacking financially.

Eldaniz is keeping a flock of sheep in his own yard. He fattens them and takes their meat to the central bazaar, where butchers and customers purchase this. People use mutton for traditional dishes like kababs, dolmas, pilovs, etc.

This is going to be his first loan. He requires 2,000 AZN to purchase 15 sheep in order to sell more meat in winter. Eldaniz is optimistic about this loan, because in winter more people consume meat, due to the holidays and increased customers in restaurants.
