Sad 10 Group's story

The Economic Interest Group (GIE) Sad 10 is made up of ten people, who all live in the same neighbourhood, and all work in the same type of business.

Modou (with his hand raised in the photo) is the group's president. He is married and has children. He is a farmer and grows vegetables. His working day starts at six in the morning and finishes at seven in the evening.

Modou will use his loan to buy seed and fertilizer to extend his area of cultivation. He is responsible for the day-to-day expenses of his family.

In the future, Modou would like to become a vegetable supplier for the market stallholders. In this way, he would increase his income and improve the living conditions of his family.
