Betty Evelina's story

Betty Evelina, 28, lives with her three children in the district of Oyotun, a community known for its hospitality and the delicious cooking offered at restaurants in the area. The local people are active in agriculture, commerce and livestock farming; and the community is located two hours from the city of Chiclayo, northern coast of Peru.

Betty Evelina raises and sells animals such as ducks, turkeys, chickens, and pigs, selling them at home and in neighboring rural districts. She has requested a loan in the amount of 1,000 PEN to buy small animals and balanced feed so she can increase her income for the family.
