A loan of $1,050 helped to buy merchandise.

Diana María's story

Diana is 36 years old and has worked as an independent merchant for several years. She started doing manicures and pedicures for her friends and neighbors and later she got the opportunity to set up in commercial space in the city center. There she also started selling merchandise via catalog and clothing to order. She visits her customers, doesn’t have a set working schedule, and the location serves as both a store and an office. She is asking for a loan to buy merchandise in quantity (perfume, jeans, blouses, jackets, shoes, catalog items, and other things) so she can have a greater variety to offer to her customers, and increase her sales over the Christmas season. She wants to take advantage of the fact that her products are of good quality and inexpensive, which makes her work easier and increases her income. Diana wants to continue working with dedication and enthusiasm. She knows that the future is in her hands and she wants to have a home of her own and strengthen her business, making it more permanent. This will guarantee that she will have stable resources and enjoy a better quality of life.
