A loan of $575 helped buying merchandise.

Paulina's story

Paulina began her business because after becoming a widow, bills started to accumulate, and she did not have an income to pay them off. She sold various products until she decided to establish a small store in April, 1997. At first, her store had just a few items, but little by little she has steadily expanded her business for 11 years. Despite illnesses and advancing age, Paulina still has enthusiasm and willingness to work hard and see her business continue to grow. She requests a loan of US $575 to be paid back in 5 months. The loan will be used to stock her store with a larger selection of merchandise to offer her customers and increase her profits.
