A loan of $3,000 helped to purchase forage for cattle, and to pay for harvesting services.

Vardan's story

Vardan is a farmer from Noyakert village of Ararat region. He lives with his wife, and two school age sons (8 and 6 years old). Vardan is employed in the private sector and is the main breadwinner of the family. His salary, however, is not enough to provide a living.

For more than ten years, Vardan has been engaged in an agribusiness to be able to meet his family's needs. With the help of his wife he is involved in cattle breeding, in breeding hens, and in cultivation of wheat and onions. He sells the agricultural products in the local market, and this is the main source of income for the family.

To sustain his agribusiness, Vardan currently needs a loan of USD 3,000 to purchase forage for cattle, and to pay for harvesting services. Vardan and his family rely on the good will of the lenders and will be very thankful to them for their help in collecting the needed loan to maintain and develop their agribusiness.
