A loan of $1,050 helped a member to buy dozens of slippers, flip-flops, and bales of clothing to sell.

Bo Road Group's story

Fatmata is 36 years old and is married to a trader. The couple has three children. For many years, Fatmata has been a businesswoman who works selling slippers, flip-flops and clothes. She is the featured leader of her group, “Bo Road,” which is requesting their second loan. The group’s previous SMT/Kiva loan had a great positive impact on the lives and businesses of Bo Road members. They successfully repaid their last loan and are requesting a new loan to further expand their business inventories.

Fatmata will use her portion of the group loan to buy dozens of slippers, flip-flops, and bales of clothing to sell.
