Aisuluu's story

Aisuluu is 29 years old and married. Even though she is young, she has four daughters: Alie and Adele are nine, Nazik is three, and Aline is two. Aisuluu has a high school education and is a homemaker. She takes care of the household and raises the children. She is very diligent, responsible, kind and careful by nature. Aisuluu raises livestock and plants crops to provide the main source of income for her family. She began nine years ago when she bought cattle for 35,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, Aisuluu now has four dairy cows, four horses, and four hectares of land for planting potatoes and grains every year. She has everything she needs to take care of the livestock. Her spouse actively helps on the farm and earns additional income providing shipping transportation services. Their monthly income is 15,000 som (KGS). In order to develop her farm, Aisuluu asked the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan to buy more cows. Aisuluu plans to use the profits to invest in more livestock and to save money to improve her family's welfare.
