Salim's story

Salim is a 58-year-old married man. Salim is a market vendor and sells seasonal fruits and vegetables from his place in a central bazaar and from his home. He has 13 years of experience in this field. He knows customers' needs and he has reliable providers because he was a merchant in a food market.

He chose this business because it is profitable and brings a stable income. People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy, and many national dishes are made of vegetables, like pilau and dolma. Fresh fruits are served on every table of Azerbaijan's families and they also make fresh punch. His monthly income is 120 AZN.

Now Salim wants to repair his market but he has not enough funds. For that, he wants to take a loan of 1,000 AZN .This is going to be his first loan.
