A loan of $750 helped to pay hospital costs to give birth and to pay for surgery.

Ruth Belinda's story

Ruth is 28 years old, married, and completed secondary school, having specialised in sciences and letters. Ruth is now studying long distance in order to achieve her desires and her goal of becoming a professional. Before falling pregnant, Ruth worked as a nurse at a local health centre. Her husband works as a cashier in a private bank in the area. The couple has one son, who is currently in nursery school. Ruth is happy and thanks God for all the blessing that he has bestowed on her. And so Ruth is applying for a loan from COMIXMUL, in order to cover the costs of the birth. Ruth's biggest desire and dream is for her baby to be born healthy and that there are no problems that may affect her son. After the birth, Ruth's plans and goals are to recover her health quickly so that she can find a new job. She had to leave her previous job due to the risk to the pregnancy. Leaving the job allowed Ruth to look after her unborn baby's health.
