A loan of $2,500 helped to pay for six oxen and forage for feeding livestock.

Hunan's story

Hunan is a 60-year-old farmer from the village of Artamet in the Armavir region. He lives with his family of five: his wife, son, daughter-in-law and two little grandchildren.

Hunan has been involved in agriculture for many years. He runs a livestock farm which includes two cows and two pigs and also cultivates wheat, tomatoes, watermelon and grass. He gathers the harvest and sells it in the local open markets. Hunan's son and daughter-in-law work at a local school and receive monthly income, but agriculture is the main stable source of income that helps the family cover its basic costs.

Currently this hard working farmer and breadwinner of the family would like to enlarge his farm. The loan of USD 2,500 that Hunan has applied for will greatly assist him in purchasing six oxen and forage for feeding the livestock.

He will be very grateful to lenders for support.
