A loan of $1,025 helped to buy construction materials like bricks, cement, and doors.

Arminda's story

Armida is 44 years old, married with two children who are 12 and 14 years old. She works selling clothing from a market stall in the Villa Esperanza zone of El Alto.

This will be her second loan from this microfinance institution, and Armida plans to use the loan to buy construction materials like cement, brick, and other materials to add a room to her house and make it more comfortable for her family. Armida faces many challenges in her business, including high competition since there are many people in her area who also sell clothes, but she is always varying her merchandise. She is very happy and grateful for the opportunity that she is provided with because it allows her to support her family and improve her home.
