A loan of $425 helped to purchase general food products for sale.

Ayaba's story

Ayaba is 45 years old and lives with her husband, a refrigeration mechanic, and their four children in Lomé. The children are all in school. To help her husband with the family responsibilities, Ayaba started selling general food products in front of a cafeteria, a business she has been running since 1996.

Her first loan will help her to purchase more merchandise to better serve her customers. In the future, she hopes to open a shop, and to provide a good education for her children.
