Penh is 43 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and fattening animals for more than ten years, earning approximately $1 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. All of her children are working in a garment factory or construction. They make an income of $16 each day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Penh is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help her children easily commute to work. In the future, she would like to run a tailoring shop for her children and build a new house next year.
