Tasleem is a 59-year-old married woman living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is the mother of two daughters and four sons.

She requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan for her son. Her son is a tailor and very expert in his profession. He has been sewing clothes for many years, which is the reason he has gotten a lot experience in his profession. His sewing machine is out of order and needs to be replaced with a new one but he does not have sufficient money to buy a new machine.

Therefore, Tasleem requested a loan for her son so that he can buy a new sewing machine. Her family members have to do hard work to earn an income for their huge family. Her younger son also provides some monthly income. Tasleem wants to arrange a dowry for the marriage of her daughter, which is why she is saving most of their earnings.

Tasleem is very thankful to Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
