Yong is 44 years old. She is married and resides with her five children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and fattening animals for more than 10 years, earning approximately $2 per day. Four of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $16 each day. Due to the family's difficulties with transportation, Yong is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help her children easily commute to work. In the future, she would like to purchase a store where her children can run a tailoring shop and help her children earn a higher education. In addition, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
