Osuipa's story

Osuipa is 47 years old, married and raising three children together with her husband. All the children are students. Osuipa has higher education, both she and her husband work at the local school as teachers of physics and mathematics. They both have analytic minds. They have raised more than one generation of school children.

As a main income for the family, Osuipa works with livestock breeding, after having started 17 years ago with the purchase of 9,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her persistent work, her farm currently has four dairy cows, four horses and 25 sheep. They have the necessary conditions for breeding livestock. Osuipa at the same time conducts veterinary vaccination as a preventive measure. The whole family helps with the business. They harvest fodder at their own plot of land. The monthly income is 10,000 som (KGS).

With an aim to further develop her business, Osuipa turned to the microfinance bank "Bai Tushum & Partners" for a loan to purchase sheep, to increase the number of livestock. She plans to invest the income from the loan in further increasing the number of livestock. She also plans to save money for building farm buildings on their land.
