Melvin Jose's story

Melvin Jose is an adult who is married with two young children who he still takes care of. He comes from the town of Chinandega, located in the west of the city. He is known as a hardworking and responsible man who works towards self improvement. In his free time he likes to enjoy music with his family, go to the movies and to the park. Because of a lack of money growing up he was not able to complete his studies, which is something that he would like to take up again and become a professional. Day after day he strives to give his children a better future.

Melvin Jose owns a grocery store which offers items for the home pantry such as rice, sugar, beans, soap, matches, detergent, eggs, lollies, toilet paper, and frozen foods such as chicken, beef and cold cuts, amongst others. His business is located in his home where he starts his day very early, offering his products to his customers and then closing up late.

With this loan Melvin Jose aims to invest in working capital and stock up his store with the purchase and resale of goods for the home pantry.
