A loan of $1,250 helped to purchase farming equipment.

Ol'ga's story

Ol'ga is involved with farming. Her activities began with growing young potatoes in 1998.

In Ol'ga's family, there are four children and her husband. The oldest son, who is 37 years old, works as the chief veterinarian in the region, and the youngest daughter, 20 years old, works as a clerk in a grocery store.

Her husband helps her to cope with the work around the farm.

Now, Ol'ga on her plot of 25 acres grows young potatoes, carrots, beets and dill.

Since there is a problem with irrigating the plot of land, Ol'ga and her husband decided to acquire drip tape and the main pipe for irrigation.

Ol'ga's Future Plans: to buy a motorpump and build a driver for the water. This will ensure no break in the flow of warm water.

Ol'ga's Personal Plans: to build a house.

She needs help to finance the main pipe and drip tape.
