A loan of $350 helped increase the number of cattle that he owns.

Juan's story

Juan is 35 years old, single, and lives in a rented room in his cousin’s house.

He is a strong and brave man who finished secondary school but who, at not being able to continue with his education, dedicated himself to working. This is how, for two years now, his business has been the purchase and sale of livestock which he offers at the Sunday market which is where he takes his animals. He has always liked the countryside, and being close to nature is very gratifying for him. The difficulty arises in transporting his livestock, but Juan isn’t discouraged by this and works very hard to fulfill his dreams.

He wants financial stability so he can prosper and, sometime in the future, start a family.

With this loan he hopes to acquire more heads of cattle to help generate additional income, as he would like to start another business which he is still analyzing and deciding on.
