Ruben's story

People see Ruben as a tenacious and honest young man. He works as a tutor for a church-based child centre. He uses his meagre salary to live and to support his elderly mother. Ruben wants to become an entrepreneur and earn extra income to further his education.

Ruben has joined Kopernik’s Tech Kiosk network to sell simple life-changing technologies. He will use the loan to buy stock and further his education. He is excited about Kopernik’s training program to improve his business skills. . Not far from where he lives, there are many off-grid villages where people still depend on generators or kerosene lamps. After being introduced to solar-powered light, he saw an excellent solution for lighting his area. He is keen to educate people in the cost-savings and health benefits of the technologies.
