Anar's story

Anar is 44 years old, married, and together with her husband is raising four children. The two older children - Adilet and Ainura - are high school students, and the remaining two are schoolchildren. Her husband helps around the farm. They live as one big happy family. Every member of the family tries to contribute her part to develop the well-being of the family.

Anar herself by character is very hardworking, determined and simply a loving mother. Anar has a high school education. As a main source of income for her family, Anar is engaged in raising livestock and growing crops, having started 17 years ago with the purchase of livestock for 5,000 som KGS. Thanks to her hard work, Anar currently has on her farm: one dairy cow, two calves and sheep, and also in assets has a 2.80-hectare plot of land, on which she grows potatoes, sows cereals and sainfoin for consumption and sale. Anar and her family have quite a lot of experience in raising animals and growing crops. Monthly income consist of 10,000 som (KGS).

With the aim of further developing her farm, Anar turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan - to buy a cow for expanding her headcount of livestock.

Anar plans to invest income from the loan in further increasing the quantity of domestic animals, and also the earned income will help to improve the family's living conditions.
