Samet is 58 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in agricultural business for more than ten years. She has an extensive experience and is successful in her business. Specifically, she grows rice. She makes an income of $6 per day. Her husband helps her run the business.
To improve her family’s finances, Samet is requesting a loan of $500 to purchase a cow to breed and produce calves to sell. By doing so, she would earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn higher education. Moreover, she wants to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family’s living conditions.
