Elizabeth Del Carmen's story

Elizabeth del Carmen is a single mother of two daughters for whom she is still responsible. She is from the municipality of Chinandega, located in the western part of the country, where trade and tourism are the main economic activities. She is characterized by being an enterprising woman with desires to improve professionally and personally. She is a a small business owner, who with effort and her own resources, managed to set up a grocery store in her home, where she offers products that are consumed at home like staple grains and frozen products, among others. She also has two other businesses. One of them is selling cow's milk and the other is selling general merchandise such as clothes, cosmetics, and perfumes. She has someone make home deliveries to her regular customers and on some occasions, she makes cash sales. The purpose of this loan is to invest in working capital, stock her grocery store, meet the demand of her customers, and invest in general merchandise. Her demand has grown a lot because the holiday season is near and that is the best time to invest.
