A loan of $1,375 helped to buy new tires for his local transportation vehicle.

Carlos Arturo's story

Carlos is 45 years ols and married with three children. They are ages nineteen, twelve, and five months, and the two oldest are in school. He is from the central area of the country. He is known to be hardworking, responsible, and eager to improve himself. Ever since he was very young he has been fighting to give his family the financial and emotional stability they need and to make his dreams come true, like seeing his children grow up to become professionals.

Thanks to his effort, his business is driving a local transportation vehicle, which has a specific route. He dedicates about twelve hours per day to his business providing his services.

The purpose of this loan is to do maintenance on his vehicle by changing the tires because december is a season with higher demand. Carlos appreciates the help Kiva lenders offer people with limited resources in poor countries like Nicaragua to earn a decent living.
