Shamsiddin's story

Shamsiddin was born in 1973. He is married and has 3 children. In order to increase his household income, he decided to start an entrepreneurship. He leased a retail outlet at a market to sell children’s toys. Growing his entrepreneurial experience, Shamsiddin invested his profits back into his business. His goods assortment includes various toys, ranging from rattle toys for infants to construction sets for school-aged kids. He also sells games that foster intellectual development of children. Shamsiddin buys his goods at the Corvon wholesale market in Dushanbe. He would like participate in the Kiva program and obtain a $900 loan in order to increase his goods inventory.
