Kanysh's story

Kanysh is 30 years old, married, and together with her husband is raising two children. Kanysh has a specialized high school education. Agriculture is the main activity of Kanysh's family, specifically raising livestock and crops, having started 10 years ago with the purchase of cattle for 5,000 som KGS.

Thanks to her hard work, Kanysh today has on her homestead: one dairy cow, one horse, and one steer. Kanysh is also engaged in parallel in agriculture and has 2.70 hectares of arable land. On these lands, Kanysh's family grows beans, corn and clover. To avoid loss of cattle, Kanysh twice a year conducts veterinary activities. Monthly income consists of 13,000 som (KGS).

With the aim of further developing her homestead, Kanysh turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan - to buy cows for expanding the headcount of livestock.

Kanysh plans to invest income from the loan in further propagation of domestic animals, and plans to save money for the further education of her children.
