Porn is 62 years old. He is married and resides with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. He has been running a motor taxi service for more than three years, earning approximately $5 per day. His wife sells Khmer noodle. She makes an income of $3 daily.
Three of his children are employed. They are garment workers and a driver. They make an income of $11 each day. To improve his family’s finances, Porn is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase clothes to sell. In addition, a part of this money will be used to purchase a motorbike for commuting.
This money will help him acquire the ability to run a new business and generate more income for the family. In the future, he would like to expand his clothes shop and help his youngest child earn a bachelor’s degree. He will fix his house with the next loan.
