A loan helped a member to purchase a variety of embroidery materials to sell.

Salma's Group's story

Salma, age 41, is a mother of four children. Her husband owns an embroidery shop in the market. It is the only source of income for the family. He sells a variety of embroidery products in his shop, including a variety of colourful thread, cloth, etc. Presently the stock of his shop is almost finished. Therefore, he needs to purchase a variety of embroidery material to resell. However due to lack of money, he finds this difficult.

For that reason, Salma, a member of two-person borrowing group, has requested a loan to help her husband. This will help him to continue his work and to continue generating income to sustain his family. Salma is thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
