A loan of $1,200 helped to buy clothes for his boutique.

George's story

George is a married man aged 42 years with three children, two of whom are attending school.
He is a businessman running a boutique in his trading center which is attended to by his wife.
Alongside the above mentioned business he also has two taxis and a produce store which also earns him an income at the end of the month.

He works 7 days a week and 12 hours per day and he started these businesses to improve his income and his family's standard of living.

He acquired this loan to purchase more clothes for his boutique and stock some produce for the festive season. His future hope is to expand his boutique business and to supply agricultural produce in large quantities.

The challenge he faces is too much drought and price fluctuation. He describes himself as a hardworking and honest man and encourages lenders to always reduce the interest rates so that low income earners can also borrow money.
