Niazi's story

Niazi lives in the village of Dashtapa, Marneuli District. He is 35 years old, married and the father of three children. Niazi lives with his retired parents. He is running the agricultural business for the family. He grows maize on the family-owned plot of land and tomatoes in the greenhouse. He sells his harvest among vegetable retailers and earns seasonal income.

He requested credit to purchase sheep and start the farm. He will start selling lambs after several months in a nearby town's open market. The income of the family will increase. In the future, Niazi plans to reinvest part of the income in the sheep-breeding business for its further development. The other part of the increased income will be used to improve the daily living conditions of the family.
