Zeinab is a 37-year-old married woman who has been running her own business as a tailor since fourteen years ago. She started working at her current location in June 2008. She had to close her previous shop and start running her business from her house because they had to move to another village.
Zeinab got her tailoring experience from her mother, who used to be a well-known tailor, when she left school during her intermediate level and went into business life. She started her own business to help her husband increase their income and develop their livelihoods because of his low-income business.

Today she is acquiring a loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua to buy necessary tailoring tools to develop her business. She is going to buy needles, threads and decorating tools. Zeinab is very optimistic about this loan, and she hopes that, through future requested loans, she'll be capable of reopening a separate tailoring shop outside her house which will attract new customers and provide privacy to her current and future customers.
