A loan of $550 helped to buy goods such as newspapers, magazines, groceries.

Elsa Renee's story

Elsa is a very hardworking woman who wishes to succeed, most of all since she is a mother and provides for her 16 year old son. She has a small business selling newspapers and magazines. She also sells bread, and some items of convenience, such as canned milk, fruit, and groceries, among others. This allows her to increase the income for her household.

Elsa is very grateful to Kiva investors, as thanks to their help, she will be able to buy more goods for her business. She will be able to buy books and magazines wholesale to offer to her clients. This will allow her to continue working towards achieving her main goal: providing her son with an education so that he can work as a professional.
