A loan helped purchase foodstuffs like rice, sugar and milk to stock her grocery store.

Liliana's story

Lilliana is a 34-year-old single mother of one child, and they live in their own home. Her primary work is selling groceries, which earns her money alongside her other work of planting and selling rice. Her main problem before starting her business was her separation from her husband, which had led to emotional pain. She managed to overcome it, though, as she is a persevering person, and she began her business. Thanks to this work, she was able to improve her family's quality of life.

Lilliana remarked that this is her first loan through Kiva and she is very grateful for the economic support she has received. She promises to make her payments on time. She is requesting a loan for 1,500 nuevos soles which she will use to buy food products like rice, sugar, milk and more.
